Jade Matthew
Jade is an actor, voice artist and director with credits across the BBC, HBO, Netflix and Channel 4. She has worked as a performer for eighteen years, and now teaches leaders the techniques actors use to stay calm and clear in front of people.
She is a clinical hypnotherapist and Master NLP Practitioner, and created the ICOP Method, which all our coaching and Mara are based on.

What does Session do?
Session is a performance and communication coaching company based in London. We help people get ready for the moments where they have to speak well under pressure: interviews, keynotes, press days, pitches and board meetings. We do this through one to one coaching with Jade Matthew, workshops and keynotes for teams, and Mara, our interactive coach.
Who is Jade Matthew?
Jade Matthew is the founder of Session. She is an actor, voice artist and director with credits across the BBC, HBO, Netflix and Channel 4, and she won a BBC Audio Drama Award. She is also a clinical hypnotherapist and Master NLP Practitioner, teaches at LAMDA, and has coached more than 500 leaders.
What is the ICOP Method?
ICOP is the method Jade created, and all our coaching and Mara are based on it. It has four stages: Identify, Clear, Presence and Maintain. We start with what happens to your breathing, voice and thinking when you are on the spot and settle that first. Then we work on how you speak and come across, and you rehearse the real meeting or talk you have coming up.
How much does one to one coaching cost?
The ICOP Intensive is from £5,000 for twelve 60 minute sessions over six weeks. Sponsored coaching, paid for by your company, is from £8,000 per leader and less for three or more. Neuro is from £1,500.
Where do you coach?
In person in London, Berlin and Amsterdam, and online anywhere in the world.
What is Mara?
Mara is our interactive coach. You turn on your camera, rehearse a meeting or talk you have coming up, and Mara scores you on pace, vocal range, energy, clarity, presence and impact. Then you try again and see your scores change. It uses the same method as our one to one coaching.
How much does Mara cost?
For individuals, Mara is £15.99 a month for Starter and £29.99 a month for Everything, and you can try it free first. For organisations we license Mara for the whole team. Book a call and we will send you a price.
Do you run workshops and keynotes?
Yes. Jade gives keynotes of 40 to 60 minutes, each with a live demonstration, and runs half day and full day workshops for eight to twenty five people. Everyone speaks on camera at the start and again at the end, so they can see the difference. Keynotes are usually booked one to two quarters ahead.
Can you help if English is my second language?
Yes. Speak with Authority is for leaders whose personality gets lost when they switch to English. We work on clarity and nerves, not your accent.
What if I need a therapist rather than a coach?
We work with a team of specialists, including therapists, hypnotherapists, EMDR and EFT practitioners, breathwork instructors, sound healers and public speaking coaches. Tell us what you need on the contact form and we will put you in touch.
